Honestly after 12 seasons and 6 final appearances it seems some people will never give lebron the credit he deserves :yeshrug:

They talk about these great teams he's played with but every time he leaves those great teams failed to make the playoffs. Dude really is a once and a lifetime player and makes the game look so easy. Sure there are better scorers but they can't control the game or play and guard 1-4 as efficient as he can.

I'm not even a lebron nut swinger but to see someone play pg, take the ball up court and run the play, then on the other side of the ball do a great job guarding the power forward is beautiful thing to watch:wow:

I can't believe this dude got criticized by magic and Kobe for going to play with talent, it's like they ignored the fact that they had the luxury of coming into the league with the best players. Sometimes I just don't get the hate for him :ld:

And? How exactly does this address this point (that you keep ignoring):
He'd be playing with better talent while going against MUCH better talent every round as well. It works both ways.

You're ignoring what I'm saying which is LeBron is the ONLY great talent in the east right now. There is nobody like Curry, Harden, Davis, Durant, Westbrook, Chris Paul, Blake, Gasol in the east. fukking Dirk would probably be the second or third best player in the east right now. :heh:

The 6
Saying Shaq > LeBron is not bashing LeBron. They're both great players.

Shaq went to 5 Finals in 7 years and won 4 of them. 4 titles in 7 years. LeBron is making his run right now, but that's a high bar and he hasn't cleared it yet.

You can only beat the team in front of you and he's done it for 5 straight years.

Although i got Bron ahead of Shaq, in no way did Shaq underachieve. Dominated in one of the best era for big men in the league. Won multiple chips, Mvps, robbed of Mvps, nothing he didnt accomplish
Shaq lost to Olajuwon the only elite center he faced in the finals. Unless you want to count Mt. Mutombo, but would that kill the bogus Iverson took the sixers to finals by himself false narrative thats so popular on this board?

Which is exactly my point. You are ignoring that putting Bron on a better team would lead to better team results. Bron on a stacked team, which he'd have out West, beats all those people and dominates the West the same way he's dominated the East.

you definitely should kill that bogus false narrative. And is 'facing elite centers in the finals a thing' if you beat them in the regular season and playoffs? I mean if he faces zo, hakeem, dream, ewing, yao, etc on a regular basis, as well as being doubled by PFs nightly, is it really his fault the lakers didn't face a team from the east that had an 'elite center'?

Lebron's been more dominant for a longer period then Shaq has

Shaq was only the Undisputed Best player for about a 3-4 year stretch.
that is more of a commentary of the era shaq played in. Their numbers are amazingly similar and shaq was robbed out of an MVP. He was without question the best player in the league during his prime.

Okay, we'll squash that, but how many of those elite centers had dynamic other world guards on their roster?
