Hip Hop fans, like metal heads take themselves too fukking seriously to the point they suck any fun of that music
Did I call Drake a nerd?
Did I say Drake wasn't about chit prior to rapping?
No.
Now, show me where these other rappers you talmbat took their money from acting
on childrens' television shows and gave to record labels saying "make me a rapper"...
Drake's success is manufactured, bruh. I'm just not falling for the okey-doke.
I'mhow you dudes constantly try to rewrite history.
I've basically always thought Drake was a clown but the vast majority of this board liked his shyt at some point. The last year has more or less been death by a thousand cuts in terms thinning out his Coli fan base. A lot of the guys currently criticizing him were fans to some extent prior to QM....and most of the people in the "Views" thread shytting on it were fans.
I know it's simpler to paint in broad strokes of "everyone hates on Drake", but it's bullshyt.
Fred.
Act like people weren't quoting Back 2 Back all of last summer well into this year brehs
But Imma let y'all keep living in this fantasy world where Quentin Miller actually effected Drake AT ALL![]()
And they take pride in the idea that they are having a rarified listening experience with rap compared to others that listen to music casually and don't delve deep into the semantics of barsHip Hop fans, like metal heads take themselves too fukking seriously to the point they suck any fun of that music
This is music. You can not manufacture success. People listen to what they like.
You can't project successYou know what? You're right...you can't manufacture success.
But you can project it; like a hologram.
Anyway, people will listen to what they like, yes...
...unless they are the type that mainly wants to listen to what is "new", or "hot".
...or unless they are listening to satellite radio, in which case they will listen to whatever the station plays
...or unless they are listening to terrestrial radio, in which case they will listen to whatever the station plays.
...or unless they are at the club, in which case they will listen to whatever the DJ plays.
@SirBiatchHe ain't been taken seriously as strictly a rapper since the QM shyt. Even Obama, who isn't exactly a "real hip-hop head" knows enough to differentiate between somebody like K Dot and Drake....how don't you?
Fred.
That light skin hateSeriously?
I don't even listen to him but there's no denying he is RUNNING hip-hop right now.
But all I see is clowns talking bout
"bu bu but he didn't sell as much as you think he did!!"
"bu bu but Hotline Bling came out a while ago!!"
"bu bu but he's a fraud"
All that bullshyt ain't changing the fact that he is the #1 rapper in the game.
Go listen to your DJ Kay Slay mixtape from 2006 and shut the fukk up![]()
You can't project success
Have you ever been to a party or club
People dance and sing to the songs they like and know.
People change the station when a song comes on they don't like
Drake is successful because he capilized on an opportunity
Why isn't Tyga as successful as Drake he has had the same advantages
Why the fukk was you giving me so much shyt when I said this thoYou know what? You're right...you can't manufacture success.
Why would anyone do that? When he falls off
It's gonna be hillarious watchin nikkas act like they never fukked with this nikka
Why the fukk was you giving me so much shyt when I said this tho![]()
i've seen it happen in my time, from eminem to 50 to wayne. Why would anyone do that?
Every rap falls from their peek relevancy it's apart of what makes rap what it is
