We all know that's not true. 0-100 was a loop, people loved it. Creative producers use loops! I don't understand why some nikkas feel the need to project their negativity onto other producers because those producers made a hit off a loop everyone else passed on due to ego.

We can debate all day about how Hit-Boy didn't chop it up or do whatever with it, but in the end, people loved it and that beat got him places. That's still him behind the boards. That's what producers do, because who here can take a loop and make another nikkas In Paris? Probably not many. And if they can.. well. Chalk that up to lack of connects. Build the network game up in 2015.

Right. People think "But it's not the same!" Sure it is. People can cut a sample and loop it all the time. They did it often back in the earlier days. You can chop it and screw it all you want. Only with loops you don't have to worry about sample clearances.

"But it's not the same as having a session player in the room with you!" What the hell do people think Additional Production and Co-Production is? A lot of those credits don't necessarily mean they were physically in the studio with the Main Producer at the time. They could've sent it over via Google Drive and just went from there. Let's say you heard an old beat from a homie, and you ask for his stock files because he doesn't plan on releasing it. He gives it to you, and you make something crazy off it. What's wrong with that? A LOT of those beats that have those credits on them come from situations just like that.

Am I saying you should rely on loops only? Hell naw. You as a producer should be able to make a good portion of your beats from scratch by yourself. But, it's the same producers who got those limiting beliefs are the same ones who can't get a hit and then catch the ol' "This Generation Doesn't Know Good Music"-mindset. Maybe if you were more open-minded to trying new things, you'd have those opportunities too. :yeshrug:

Now those loops are complete beats not sounds

I could identity the sounds on the Triton Keyboard that Lil Jon used in his beats, be like oh this a cool patch

this are complete constructed beats, not sounds you can play on a keyboard

which is cool, but they not even changing the shyt up, not the pitch, no even transposing the shyt, they not even trying

Toomp used the loop packs at as well, but he changed them up tho

The Real Producers are the guys behind the loop companies, they use high end studio mastering, and are professionals

Dalvin from jodeci got a company that makes loops, he's a real producer a real talent, they just switched the model up and charge these no talents for the loops while they struggle for fame and have to get re upping buying their products stay in the game
Post some examples, Sir.

Any of you know where you could buy re-creations of the famous breakbeats?
Like, someone replaying Funky Drummer, Synthetic Sub, Roach Clip, etc.?
Someone has to have done it by now

I've seen an actual playlist on Spotify with the old breaks. Tons of them. I think some were live too, so they hit a little differently. Not sure where you'd be able to cop them though.

I know folks hate that site, but........Try reddit. They should have something lying around there. I only go there for the drum kits and to see what the discussion is at r/HipHopHeads.

http://www.reddit.com/r/Drumkits <- They've got a lot of nice shyt over there. So even if you don't find some drumbreaks, you at least won't go home empty handed if you're needing some shyt that knocks.

I have all the breaks as either wavs or the actual record, I want to swap out the breaks in some beats for something that I dont have to pay royalties or get a clearance for
