They are just going to respond with smilies,"do your googles", and you are a "sheep".
While I think it's insane to actually vote for Trump, rather than try to give a 3rd party some shine for federal funding, Hillary voters (and MSM) seem way too scared of Trump being in office. It says that they both need the Sander's supporters they constantly disrespect and troll, and they're not too keen on sHillary's actual chances.

And yes, more people on HL could use "the Google", because as your posts seem to be fine, a lot of you talk reckless, with no connection to logic and actual human feelings/behavior with an insane amount of confidence. I'm likely the most researched, but I stay hungry and humble, and don't need to turn debates into quagmires. It's because I Google and know that I'm usually on the right side of an issue.

Trump will NEVER scare me enough to support corruption, because corruption is very unhealthy for an economy that does secret trade deals and QE, with that person being unable to show you her speeches, and you ACCEPT this from a PRESIDENTIAL candidate. :patrice:

That is more scary than Trump to me, the people's easy sheepishness when the media isn't shining a huge spotlight on it, and a candidate thar feels she's that above the law and people she is obsessed in leading.

not for nothing, but Trump is a lifelong democrat who has spoken often in the past about insuring all people (single payer) and decriminalizing drugs. He's also to the left of Hillary on how we fund elections, the Iraq war, possibly on banking as he doesn't have the ties she does, nor does he support trade deals that bankers unanimously support like Hillary

His racism and dog whistles are disgusting, his show is tired and he won't get my vote. But we have no idea if those lifelong tendencies would come out or if he'd be the strongman he's playing, but to act like Hillary is an obvious better choice from a number of angles is just disingenuous when she is tied to this corrupt game. Quote me on this - if it does end up being Trump vs Hillary he will be to the left of her on many positions. He can't say much until he has that Republican nod locked up, but just watch the fukkery when he starts outflanking her to the left leading to the general

No it isn't rhetorical. I'm asking youy because I think you are generalizing certain issues within the Democratic primaries that are in Clinton's favor over Bernie's and thinking that somehow the Democrats are becoming Republicans.

That's absurd.
  1. The primaries aren't favoring anyone Clinton is just campaigning better and sometimes the better campaign wins.
:mjlol: Talk about clueless...

True. It's very funny that outside of the last 6 years when racism was "running wild brother!!!" @Hollywood Hogan , no one really cared about any of it, until this anti-estabishment (the key point here), was getting most of their vote.

People here really think the Democrat and Republican parties are going to fail due to ideological shifts in their voting base, huh :mjfrancis:

They're just going to piggyback over whatever's hot with their base ultimately. The institutions rarely change, even if the message does :sas2:

People need to do research when they do not specialize in a field. Information travels too fast for this. Individuals do not become more conservative as they get older. The conservatives today were conservatives in college. If anything, people's belief in change vanishes. As a result, they become more fixated on family and self. It is the system they lose belief in and that starts to manifest itself in which politics will be accepted. People were not saying this 20 years ago. Years ago is when the myth you're perpetuating was considered to be the best recent data.
When i said people become more conservative I don't mean in the political sense as more they become less "radical". Not saying democrats become republicans when hey become older necessarily but younger people are definitely more passionate which I think translates for example being more likely to consider themselves more far right or left.

Right, but that's because they don't believe what their heart wants is possible. They take those options off the table.

Both parties are. In a two party system each one needs the other to survive. Just like batman needs the joker. Once one starts declining the other party will do better but only to a certain point. Once the opposition becomes too weak or fragmented the other will lose steam too as there is no serious opposition they will become lazy or will push to move a more extremev agenda to capitalize on the others weakness.
This is fundamentally why a two party system is not good for democracy, it's about the party more than the issues.
