Couldn't pay all 3 max.

Anyway warriors will just let go of shaun and iggy. Have a bunch of vet min guys that's about it. Pretty ugly roster

THEY NEVER PAID ALL THREE THE MAX FROM THE START.

BRON WAS GONNA GET THE MAX
AND THE OTHER 2 WERE GONNA GET NEAR MAX MONEY.

:childplease: WADE DIDNT EVEN RESIGN FOR THE MAX

(nor close to it)
TO MAKE SURE BRON GOT HIS.

BOSH SAID IF BRON STAYED HE WAS STAYING
EVEN THOUGH HOUSTON HAD ALREADY OFFERED HIM THE MAX.

BRON WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO WAS GONNA GET THE MAX.

BOSH ENDED UP GETTING IT AFTER BRON LEFT.

The warriors planned for Durant for 3 years, I have faith in their vision

Let's be honest

They have a plan

I don't think they planned for Durant at all. Everyone thought Durant leaving OKC was a pipe dream. but once he signed, they had to move fast to get money to sign him. (trading Bogut) then filling out the roster(David west, Pachula).

Yall have the utmost confidence speaking about people willing to take paycuts........

Endorsement money is no substitute for contract money.....

And how much of a paycut should he take? He got a baby mama that always tryna dig in his pockets...

As it stands...you guys have had luck because Stephen Curry is on a lousy contract...

Lets say they dont win this year.....you dont think that hard questions are gonna be asked?
Lacob and Co. about to cash out for the most expensive arena in the league at well over a Billion. I say that to say money isn't an issue here. This ain't OKC. We don't lose stars due to money.

Y'all think the entire Warriors org went to go recruit KD without the idea of making it work :mjlol:

Y'all think KD went through all the media backlash just for him to stay one year and leave to go to a lesser team for a couple more million when he could've got the full max from OKC :mjlol:

The moral here isn't that they will lose Durant, it's that they will most likely lose Iggy and have to add guys for even lower contracts because the mandatory roster number will increase and rookies are going to get more.

Losing depth has already appeared to be an issue and they could be forced to lose more

It would only be fitting that the cap not jumping as high as previously thought and Steph's salary fukked the whole thing up. That said, we all know damn well that if any two players are on that roster next year it's gonna be Curry and Durant (unless Durant chooses to leave). Wasn't the last CBA supposed to stop "superteams" and yet somehow the Warriors were able to one up, really two or three up the Heat? If owners put the same amount of energy into building their teams as they put into hating and "cost certainty" this kinda stuff wouldn't happen to begin with.

basically.....they can keep the big guns but they have to fill out the roster with meagre contracts after.
