You sign Durant first, bring in a bunch of vet minimums who want to play for a contender

Re-sign iggs and Livingston

Then sign curry last since you DO have his bird rights..
They're all gonna have to be on 1 year contracts again plus pay cuts or else GS will go into the repeater tax. I can go into all of what that entails, but Prokhorov wasn't willing to pay that in Brooklyn and that guy burns money for fun.

Excellent post brother :salute:

The clowning and agenda posting is good but at times we need informational posts like this which will educate posters and have us looking like capologists in the barber shop or around our friends.. :myman:

As to the post, one thing I feel teams underestimated was the potential for the cap to go BACK DOWN. Either via the new CBA or because the tv money goes down in another negotiation.
For instance everybody plea copped the Mozgov deal cause "that's the market now". Well what if this new CBA makes that Mozgov deal a fukking major L for the lakers?

One thing I don't really understand about the current CBA is the birds right rules, that shyt fukked me up in my 2k12 franchise. I offered a dude I drafted a qualifying offer because I wanted the market to determine his value. I knew most of the teams in my franchise was capped out so I knew no one could offer him anything. Dude accepted my qualifying offer for 1 year, but somehow I lost his bird rights even tho I drafted him :leon:. shyt had me nervous cause the next year other teams had cap room and dude was coming off a MVP season. Luckily I got dude to sign for 700k somehow on a 1 yr deal until I could sign him for 5 yrs 70 mil (still way less than he worth). Aight i'm rabbling now but point being, I don't know shyt about how bird rights actually work despite thinking i know about the CBA well

GS owner is paying the repeater tax though. He's been willing and ready to do so.:manny:
