Landover, Suitland and Capital Heights are cities that border D.C and have hoods that are worse than D.C hoods. Homer Avenue was a neighborhood that was demolished in 2005, people were getting robbed in the U.S census Bureau parking lot.

The whole landscape different. I'm from Marlboro Pike (Nova Ave Glacier Ave side) then moved out to Clinton. This was back when that part of PG was the shyt for the black middle class. SE was rough af and Capital Heights, Glassmanor, Kentland, etc were the rough parts of PG. Largo/Mitchellville were a little more affluent than Clinton/Fort Wash but Tantallion had the big houses and bomb pool parties. PG isn't the black middle class staple that it once was and getrification has finally reached east of the river. So where are the resident getting pushed out to? PG. I'm rambling but shyt just different. And you can get caught up anywhere in PG now. And yeah MD rappers BEEN carrying the torch for the area.

DC nikkas are haters.

From my travels there, you can barely tell the difference from when you in Silver Spring, Hyattsville, Cheverly, Landover and all them Maryland towns on the border vs. DC. You drive up Rhode Island Ave and you in Hyattsville & Bladensburg. And it still looks like an urban city area, not like cookie cutter suburbs. Maybe those areas aren’t super fukked up like South East but it ain’t the boonies like DC nikkas try to portray it like. Most DC blacks are moving to these places. It’s just like Compton, Watts, Inglewood being towns around LA.
