:russ: I remember being high as shyt the first time I listened to this whole album. Was damn near passed out with the earphones on.

Assassination Day started, scared the shyt out of me. :mjlol:

"hhh. huhhhh.... HELP... PLEASE!!!!! :damn:"

I jumped straight off the couch like :merchant::dahell::snoop:

:laff:
:lolbron: Ghost been involved in some memorable intros from him begging people to cop Baking Soda at the store(Wu GAmbinos), to him cursing some coke chick out (Walk with Me) to him freaking out about customizing Clarks (Glaciers of Ice). Sounds like you were listening to that shyt, kicked back with headphones on and it shook you.:mjlol:............I been there.:beli:

I have nothing but respect for this album...and it may sound cliche...but "All that I got" is perfect...the melody with the piano, the lyrics...a wu tang symphony.

260, one of my favorite songs ever

That Al Green sampled beat and the storytelling is so majestic on there...

"Kicked in the crib, the whole sh!t looked graphical
Natural, fvcking a white b!tch? Actual
Feens chanting..."do ya thing Chef, handle him!"
I shot him in the neck, it ricocheted and hit Caroline"

And that Sonny Carson sample at the beginning...

"That sucka think he good, that sucka think he can whoop me. And I know he can't whoop me! I...aye, boy...the n!gga whole style is chump! You understand? Let me get mines first! Then after I get mines, you can do what you wanna do..."

I know most folks like liquid swords or OB4CL as their favorite wu-tang solo album, but Ironman has always been my personal favorite. I pretty much fukk with EVERY song on this disc.

my fav song is probably a toss up between "fish" or "winter warz".
See I gotta chime in cause Cuban Linx is my favorite album ever of any genre, but I can see how someone can like Ironman over Cuban Linx. I mean both albums feature Rae and Ghost heavily. I think they are both in the same space one is apples the other is oranges.

The Chi (South Side)
anyway, I can't call it.

Ghost truly invented a new rhyme style that was totally his own on here.

This was RZA at his crate digging creative best. Hell, just look what he did to that Nautilus sample. Dude was sampling anime (help... please!).... turned around and dropped Poisonous Darts. Turned around and dropped Camay.

Got songs with Ghost not even on there!

In my opinion, IronMan is actually the "purest" Wu-Tang album. The most distilled vision of what true fans feel Wu actually sounds like.

Cause honestly, the casual fan thinks Wu is Old Dirty and nikkas playing like they're in karate movies in the background.

you know what's the craziest thing about that bob james "nautilus" song. that rza and primo both sampled it in different songs, yet the songs sound totally different.
