Poor Black people deal with all that no matter who is in office. Woodlawn is Woodlawn whether Trump or Biden in office. It will be gentrified whether Trump or Biden is in office. Those people will be displaced no matter who is in office.

I'm neither Democrat or Republican. But Black voters vote like single people because many of us aren't married. Single women will always vote liberal for obvious reasons. Black men need to man up, quit being "ride or die" for Democrats like women and stop waiting for a politician to fix our communities. A lot of Black men don't even vote so we already know we control our future, not a politician with a suit and tie. If you are going to vote, at least make them work for it. Dudes ain't even asking for shyt.

Are you Hispanic? Broke left leaning White artists looking for cheap rent in the city sure do. You see it in other parts of Chicago that have been gentrified. Once the broke White artists make it even more safe bringing in coffee shops and whatever else they like, the young White professionals come in and the process is complete.

I feel like this is just another manifestation of black folks wanting to imitate wealthy, privileged liberal white folks. Many in our community have started to adopt their mindset. They can advocate for illegal immigrants all they want to because they are never going to be in their neighborhoods unless somebody's grass is getting cut or some landscaping is being done. They can push for gay rights, minority rights and all kinds of shyt that's irrelevant to them because they won't be harmed by it in any significant measure.

Black folks don't realize that we aren't in the same position. We GOTTA advocate for ourselves and realize that these other groups are competition and see us the same way.

Considering that they are trying to move them into an empty school that tells you the neighborhood is already lacking resources. Neighborhoods with empty buildings generally have very little resources. So now the city wants to bring more marginalized people into a marginalized neighborhood and have them all share the little resources available. It's crazy to place the responsibility of the migrants on citizens who are already getting the short end of the stick. That's like your immediate family being broke, then your cousins gotta come live with you and take a portion of the little you have, all while your other richer family tells you "hey, don't be like that".

When these migrants are transported to places like Martha’s Vineyard, they are swiftly removed after the photo ops are taken. One of the wealthiest places in the nation and an island full of empty mansions that belong to rich the “Progressives” that advocate for open borders, but those Venezuelans were kicked out of their shyt the very next day after they arrived.

These wealthy places have an abundance of resources. Why can’t these “migrants” stay in their neighborhoods and homes? If they don’t want these people anywhere near them, why would they expect Black People to accept them with open arms in their neighborhoods? These Black neighborhoods/areas already have their own issues, and with much less resources than those of the wealthy white Liberals. In fact, the residents of these Black neighborhoods are already fighting for what little resources they have.

Maybe you and the few that think like you need to stop being so disingenuous in defense of your white Liberal and cac Progressive masters.
