I think the 10 billion figure had there being 4 billion Africans by 2100.

Alarmed by an even faster-than-expected slide in the number of babies born last year, Prime Minister Fumio Kishida is preparing a policy package he says is a last chance to keep society functioning.

Ideas like compulsory paternity leave, canceling student debt for people who have a baby, and ¥10 million ($76,445) payouts for a third child have been thrown around in recent weeks. While some of these are controversial and won’t make it into the final program, Kishida has promised measures "on a different dimension” from previous efforts.

The number of college graduates that would start having kids would sky rocket in US if this happened


All the educated bros would push out more kids than "pookie and ray rays" combined

...or would it be like thsoe military marriages, either way the kids would start rolling out

3 reasons.


1). Its a somewhat selfish desire, but its honestly an easyway to deal with unemployment and underemployment in Africa. I mean look at DRC with an unemplyment rate of 24% or south africa with a horrifying unemployment rate of nearly 30%. Its not a good thing to have so many young men with no future monetary prospects.


2). Would also be nice to see Africa (and the caribean) get the remittences bonus as well. An ideal case would be something like the philipines where 1/10th of their gdp is just their dynamic diaspora sending money home.


3). Finally, the return of a skilled workforce. Ideally something like a poor zimbawean going to Japan to teach english, but he studies IT or nusing or bussiness while he is out there and then returns home to use those skillsets in his homeland.







Immigration is a symbiotic fix that solves problems for both the sending and recieving nation.
