Fellas would you date a Feminist?

White people advocating for "white rights" in a society they damn well control is a little... naive. But I'm sure they wouldn't wanna date me either. You'd have to be implying that women have more influence and more resources than men for that parallel to be valid.

Hmmmm...I guess it depends on what women are trying to accomplish exactly. Equal pay for equal work is legit. But they do have some advantages over men in the market.

So the question is does a man want to hear about it all the time? It's not necessarily if the woman has a valid argument or not. It's sort of a chauvinist perspective but it's true. The white person not wanting to date you if you were pro black is probably accurate, even though it might not be right. Just like I couldn't date a white girl because issues of race will always arise and someone would eventually have to take a back seat. I think if one person in the relationship is going to be pro something, it should directly benefit both. Pro black with 2 black people....pro life....pro immigration. A feminist would work a lot better in a lesbian relationship I think. Hopefully that doesn't come off as judgemental. I just think eventually it would get to the point where the guy thinks the girl is encroaching into the dominant role. I'm probably rambling too much now...sheesh

No! You're not rambling too much. I think your concerns are valid and I DO agree that feminists would be generally happier in a relationships with women because most men want to feel in charge and dominant. Unless the man believes in feminist ideals himself and considers his girl his equal, that's a perfect match too. I agree with you, all relationships should be mutually beneficial. It doesn't mean that your feminist date would want to be in charge of YOU, she just wants to be in charge of herself. I'd still say you wouldn't have a problem with a feminist unless you tried to boss her around because she's a woman.

You're still 4 times more likely than me, as a black woman. Which is not something I hold against you, but a statistic I use to illustrate who is most likely to run our society. The fact that there ARE gender disparities of any sort is good enough reason to address them because I live in America, not in India or Pakistan. It's not solely about political and corporate positions. Let's not forget "it's a man's world" has been consistently repeated even in advertisements from the early 60's. People seem to forget that women have only recently started to experience a sense of freedom. Many of the misogynistic ideals from over 5 decades ago are still alive and well, being regurgitated to little girls who will grow up to think insecurity is essential to being a woman.

I dated one before and I've come to learn that feminist are mostly women who can't use female privilege to their benefit and are looking or the world to accept the things that they hate about themselves. Most lead irrelevant lives and join the feminist movement in order to feel apart of something. Most are hypocritical to the bone and want the world and others beliefs to conform to be used at their advantage. For example the one I dated was a slut and didn't see sexual constraint as a feminine quality but expected me to hold her down financially as a man. She honestly threw all of the shyt out the window after I showed her genuine love and care as a human being. I'm convinced most of them lash out due to lack of success with the male species and the lack of control.

Feminism is simply an aspect of female privilege. The ability to victimize themselves at will and dictate how people should value others.
