First off there are a LOT of lies to dismantle here.
I want you to stop internalizing the lie that blk men are behind black Women.
That’s a myth. Black men economically still make more than black women do even with their multiple degrees in basket weaving that many get so arrogant about.

Which is why I shake my head every time I hear a blk chick claiming all these nikkas are broke....
...Like she ain’t. Not to mention the crippling student loan debt, excessive consumerism and living above their means some blk women engage in.
Secondly, the dynamics of slavery fukked up gender roles but the economic contributions of women particularly black women have always been a reality even outside of slavery. The myth of the American dream nuclear family where Susie stays at home and picks out the latest vacuum while Sonny goes out and brings home the bacon has always been a lie for the majority of people worldwide.
Most people WORLDWIDE who ain’t rich don’t do that shyt.
Japanese farming families wives were right outside in the damn rice paddies planting rice seed. Talk to some old wizen ladies who can’t even stand up straight b/c they worked their entire lives. Most Europeans themselves couldn’t even keep up the ideal nuclear family. Irish, Scottish chicks, poor French and Russian women have had their hands in the dirt with potatoes, operating sewing machines in factories...
Go to Africa. In ancient Africa there was never a time when chicks were just chilling at the house not doing shyt. They literally worked their OWN fields to contribute to their husbands wealth in addition to women’s work.
In fact, the idea of men only working while women sit around lazy is a very new idea supported by capitalism and its damaging to men and women. The former b/c they think they have to shoulder all burdens and the latter because they are undervalued.
Which is another reason I think people worldwide need to reform the institution...it’s built on capitalist lies.
I mentioned double burden and the reality of women’s work to discount the lie that women have been passively just twiddling their thumbs worldwide. The rich do that but poor people don’t and poor women never have in addition to caring for the children and the home.
