Hernandez (91 pace/Hunter Style) is struggling to gain speed for about 2 or 3 steps, you can see the determination on his face, and dude jogs from behind with Dante (68 pace) to get in front of Hernandez to get the ball. Just be cause Hernandez takes so long to gain speed.
Defense is too overpowered, its a gift and a curse. The curse is games are very boring and repetitive, since no one can pass, everyone lobs. All of this fukkery because EA has been trying to limit ping pong passes and pace abusers since forever.
If you going to improve defense, improve offense, even Biabiany got chased down by Ashley Cole (LB from Chelsea).

Controlling the ball is one thing. But we are talking about Hernandez acting like he is trying to move a 500 pound boulder. So...I'm not talking first touch. Also, no reason should Ashley Cole from Chelsea should be chasing down Biabiany.
At this point the game play is repetitive because of the over powered defenders, everyone just lobs. I hate that n00bs are given so much help on defense. Make the attackers smarter, the scripting is so bad I can't change directions when I want or they make me change directions at the worst possible time. This has been my problem with FIFA since day 1, they never give you full control, and this FIFA comes with training wheels. I might as well be playing Mario soccer.
This game is fun against the computer and amongst friends, but it is atrocious online. I've skipped 2 or 3 years from online play because of repetitive game play. I used Chelsea against overpowered FIFA 08 Barca, overpowered FIFA 09 Manchester United and overpowered FIFA 13 Real Madrid. So, I know how bad it can get, but FIFA outdid itself this time.
I'll buy FIFA every year, but online play is not for me.

They only let you do Manual passing & shooting, the scripting and the atrocious animations don't go away on full manual.
I'm playing on division 2 and most of the guys play like n00bs, I play guys where most of their passes were short and long lobs.
You don't need to know anything about soccer to play this game online. There is no payoff, game is boring in next gen. Anyone who plays on X1 will tell you.
I might go back to the 360, at least the defense wasn't so ridiculous so people were more creative.
