FF9 is EASILY the most underrated. Its probably litterally perfect compared to all the other ones in which you can find some sort of flaw. I think the main characters look was to different, with the tail and all, which caused it to have less appeal, but its really a magnificient game, but all final fantasies are good(minus the obvious bad ones)

You couldn't have sold me that shyt in 2001 but now I can say that FFX > FFVII by a wide margin. GOAT FF game a tie between VI and IX tho, hands down.

7 is like the jordan of final fantasy. 10 is my second favorite then 3 coming in at 3rd. i got close to halfway through 9 and then lost my saved game and didnt bother going back to it, but reading these comments about it is making me wanna give it another try

completely unrelated but Caius Ballad has to be the most overpowered boss in Final Fantasy history. every time you gotta fight him he just continuously spams a chain of ultimate level attacks.

Goddamn 9 was nice like that? I never played it.

9 was very good. the last boss left a bad taste in my mouth but it was the last truly great FF made.

its not underrated at all...it gets the amount of props it deserves.

Agreed, but I've never played 7. But X was just so good to me. Great story, great characters, great setting, and good gameplay. My 2nd favorite game of all time.

FF 6 (3 in the states) is better than both games 4 is close too. Lol at 10the nikka was throwing a beach ball as a weapon, i immediately threw that game in the bushes.
