Given they openly talked down the overall numbers their HD games did at the time this is questionable.

Sony is also a hardware maker and they own an entire platform with PSN and the likes. Square Enix is just a game publisher.

They aren't going to put out individual numbers until they reach a point that the numbers sound good. It's likely comparisons to stuff like FFXV they don't like.

I wonder why the game took six years to come to Xbox. Sony had exclusive rights for some of that time. did they extend their exclusivity? Series S held it back? change of strategy at Square?
