Don't even see the point of getting this if I have to wait months/years for the whole game. May as well just play the og version

The OG game was so long it felt like a trilogy all in one game anyways. This first game is supposed to be the entire midgar section, which is cool with me.
That is still all the Avalanche missions, All the Aeris vs Turks stuff, All the Shinra Tower stuff, The Corneo Mansion side plot, Plus the destruction of the plate and the motorcycle chase through the city. And they said they plan to expand on it too. All they need to do is add some mini games some optional missions, Make the city huge and explorable, and that will be as big a game as FFXV ever was just off the first Act.

Might give them more time to explore the Avalanche crew backstories or relationships. Since they all die early on anyways. give their death more of an impact.

You can actually get him on Disc 1 as soon as the party visits Nibelheim. The game kind of hints at this because shops and treasure chests after that point in the game start having his weapons available

This is why they've mentioned in the past that none of the characters will be optimal this time around, and the scenarios in how you find them may be different. Vincent might be showing up a lot earlier than in the OG due to this. Maybe not in Part 1, but probably earlier in terms of how the overall story will unfold. I think in Part 1, there'll most likely be references to Vincent because of just how much they're expanding Midgar, and I'm sure they're not going to miss the opportunity to flesh out the lore for all things Shinra and the Turks.

if I remember, they recommend picking him later cause the boss before getting Vincent is hard and the first go round you might not be strong enough

So I watched the demo from the YouTube app on my Nintendo Switch and this shyt got me sooooo fukking hype. I haven't played Final Fantasy 7 since I was like...17 years old. That's 22 years ago. And yet I remember the actual layout of the first level, Mako Reactor. So when I was watching them go through the level, the nostalgia hit me hard. I was seeing chests and shinra boxes in the background that the player didn't get to and that shyt was driving me nuts.

I need this fukking game. This is gonna be the game that gets me to buy a PS4 Pro or PS5...
