They had to do this, cause people were either gonna come out the gate and call the battle system "Press Square to Win" or say how difficult the combat is.

What I like about Cloud is that his attacks actually feel heavy. Barret as well feels different than Cloud. I think Tifa will be the character to switch to if you want speed.

There's like one very vocal person in this thread that's trying to convince everybody that the battle system is trash and is exactly like FFXV/KH3. I'm like

shyt is crazy because this was just a short demo and you know how much stuff we haven't even tried? Tifa, Aerith, summons, materias etc. This the best FF has ever played in years. Saying it's like FFXV is crazy because it doesn't feel anything like that. It may on the surface look similar but it certainly don't feel the same. It's more like KH/FFXIII and FFVII mixed together.
