2 of those "inferior" fighters fought PAC too. We're they inferior then?

c'm,on man....yes they were inferior, you are going to tell me that they were not?..there was no one else to fight....the 2 biggest men in the game should have and PAC wanted it

he could have killed all the critics with simply fighting as this was the most prized fight that people wanted to see about 6 years ago, no one cared about anyone else since floyd was superior.....like i said to solidify this argument he could have done what people wanted to see which were 2 top fighers in the prime not a champion and some contenders just giving this dude a super high payday and hype building around it.

You didn't refute or answer anything I typed.:dwillhuh:

I hear you though.

I've been name names for weeks and months use the search engine. I'm not wasting my time on some Floydette h0mo lover.

instead of typing that whole sentence you could've just listed some names man
I swear you dudes have no logical arguments only Stephen from Django level hate for a black man on top of the world

Floyd has never given a shyt about putting on a better show. Don't drink the Kool Aid and think all of a sudden he wanted to be exciting. Cotto gave him a tougher fight than expected and that's all there is to it.

Ur exactly right. Floyd wasn't joking when he said he thought about retirement after that tough fight against Cotto. That's why he went back to his daddy for real. But I do wish he would have fought Cotto in that 2007/2008 era when he was so called "retired."

1 fighter for years...Manny in his prime, I know this is a pro-floyd board so i expected these comments. if you read the article that I posted and was on yahoo 2 weeks ago it shows he hand picked his opponents and the terms etc.

You do realize Floyd is older than Manny right, so if manny's past his prime so is Floyd

where was pac man when floyd was 25-29 dominating the sport?

Floyd is Older than Cotto as well, so if he fought Cotto past his prime, then I guess Mayweather is past his prime as well.

Nobody was saying Shane was past his prime when he knocked Margarito out

When the great Ray Leonard was Mayweather's age now, he got beat up by Terry Norris, looked like an old man. But yall act like Mayweather 25 years old fighting 35 year olds and ducking the young champions, when his most recent fights are against guys who were kids when he was in his prime.

People forget because the media ain't turn on Mayweather until the last 5 or 6 years, but Floyd was the paul williams nobody wanted to fight. It's the fight business, Shane was in the position Mayweather is in one point, with Mayweather stalking him for a shot so he can get on, and Shane was shrugging him off because he had bigger fights to take on.

oh read this and the last paragraph especially....i am about to sign off though..

but like i said its the past and cannot we cannot really argue about it anymore since it didnt happen.....but it was an interesting read...

Bob Arum Claims Floyd Mayweather Turned Down $100 Million To Fight Manny Pacquiao

:shaq2:I don't believe anything Arum says, regardless if it about Floyd or not. I'm still waiting to see the stadium he said hes building for the fight. Where is it? Anyway, there's blame to pass around on both fighters but honestly believe that Arm is the reason why the fight didn't happen. Neither fighter is scared :beli:

I'm not anti- Manny and Pro- Floyd like some brothers up here. I'm pro-boxing.

Oh and Mayweather does great against southpaws. Arum is wrong.

:beli: u think floyd couldnt stand in the middle of the ring and pick cotto apart ? :comeon:
:thefucc:

Floyd dont give a flying fukk about giving a good show. I give him a pass because he was sick, but I dont think he stood in the corner and let himself get hit. That dont make no damn sense. :russ:
