I hear good shyt about Houston
I'm sure they got traffic and shyt too, but I'm trying to live somewhere where that I don't need to prepare for the entire day just to do something simple like go to Target.
I went to my job yesterday to drop off shyt.. Took all of 3-4 hours to go there and back. There was an accident like 2 exits away from where I live and that took an extra hour just sitting in bullshyt... It wasn't even rush hours. That was just to go to my job, not even working 10-12 hours like normally.
This shyt is everyday and worse during rush hour. I went to Tampa/Orlando a few weeks ago and barely sat in shyt. Made me rethink where i'm at. If I find at least a 55-60k job in Tampa im leaving immediately.

Breh, move here if you got some type of opportunity or a solid plan. Don't move here because you think it's cool or nikkas make it seem like this is some type of paradise. This shyt is nothing like that imo. I moved back here for fam and I was overseas. Now I wish I never came back in this muthafukka. Prime years were in the early 2000's. Now it's full of transplants and its overrated af... My opinion though. I rather be in Miami

Not a personal attack on you breh I just seen too many of them out here
Technically I'm a transplant as well. I moved here in middle school like half of my people out here. My mom got a better job opportunity out here..changed our lives
But this was before High School. I left and moved to Miami on my own, and I did ok, then left for military after HS.
My first time really being here since then but my fam out here so I came back for them.
I'm just saying, shyt isn't the Mecca nikkas think it will be. It's cool, don't get me wrong and you're more than welcome to come out here as a black man and you'll be alright
But nikkas/females come out here to go from mediocrity to mediocrity. Like I said my sister moved back thinking this shyt would be sweet and it just caused her more problems because she didn't have a legitimate skill.. Only fam.
I was the one that told her to pack up, go with her nikka to Lauderdale (where he's from) and that it would be 10x's better.
Now all her kids are honor roll students, staying out of trouble, doing good in school, she has a great job, etc.
I just know that maybe the media (and especially from nikkas on here) people think you can just move to ATL and everything will get better.. Its black Hollywood foreal.
It reminded me of when I was in the military. In mostly black areas/bases, nikkas stayed talking sideways and trying you. But if you're in a spot where we were rare, all we had to do was head knod and we knew what was up. Even my white friends were like "You dont even know that dude... How do yall just dap each other up and head knod like that". We just showed love because we knew we all we got if shyt goes down. And we kept it moving.
ATL is cool, theres a lot of opportunity and real nikkas here don't get me wrong, just too many others coming here with daydreams and shyt

I started at Centennial which was wack af until they brought in a bunch of spanish bytches, then to Chattahoochee (sp?) then to Independence where I dropped the fukk out after. They not inner city schools I don't think, i went where my mom brought me though

They wasn't feeling this shyt. They stayed in trouble. Her kids are literally from the hood. Those my kids in my mind too, so I know...
My oldest nephew stayed getting into fights. nikka even got arrested. I taught my neice how to box, so she literally beat a kids ass for disrespecting her. No bullshyt, had that lil whiteboy leaking.. She's actually a natural at boxing. None of that I gave a fukk about btw. They grandma (my moms) was pissed and stressed, my sister was stressed, but it was a big change/different for them for some reason moving to ATL.
I just told them that they would fit in more in Lauderdale and I was right.
No real reason I really just felt like ATL with all the white people, transplants that can't relate to them, etc., that everyone would be happier there.. And I was right.

Like I said, I left HS in Ga and moved to MIA. Best decision of my life so far... So much crazy shyt rolled off that decision. From friends to family to jobs, etc. people of South Florida has my heart no lie.
And I saw the same shyt in those kids that I saw in my sister and myself. My sister never had the guts to leave home.. Me, I didn't give a fukk. I rode the bus to work, worked as a bar cook smelling like straight shyt, did construction, etc., hung out with the wrong crowd at one point too. But goin off on my own made me a man.
Moving her kids there I'm 1000% confident that they will be fine... Because they are exactly like me. All of them. They like the excitement and experience of seeing and doing different shyt. Lauderdale is different to them but not crazy like Miami

But yeah, I am a great uncle... And a great older brother in which my lil sister is the same age as you. I also had great uncles to look up to. I'm a fool but im never going to say or recommend you to do shyt I never done. My lil sister loves me to death (and vice versa).. Whenever she has a problem with anyone she calls me. She called me about her 5 year plan last night
Listen, no lie because I ignored what my family when I was young and dumb, but DO THAT. One thing I'm not going to tell you to do is not live and enjoy your life... Enjoy yourself, have fun. Just have a plan. Look at the patterns of people in your life and see where they went wrong
Change the pattern of everyday life and your life will change... period.
