And many of the few black immigrants do not just come because of opportunity. Many were forced to immigrate. America destabilizes and exploits African countries and robs them of their resources so people like you can talk sh!t about africans on your computer without ever having any thoughts or care about where the raw materials for the microchips and computers you use everyday come from. You benefit from American imperialism too.. just cause its not as much as white folks doesn't make it any better. But as far as my opinion, I'm all for black people working together as a people regardless of where they're from. We're stronger as a unified front.

With that said, working together doesn't mean ignoring our differences. So AAs have every right to feel like our unique experience and history should be a focus and priority to us.

Feel that can be done without being antagonistic and hateful though, and I think non AAs should be understanding of that.

Big difference between people who descend from slaves and people who don't.
