It's not Forbes, its Forbes Contributor. They basically got bloggers on the site working for free and write whatever they like.

Most of them aren't even accurate on their reporting or post opinion-pieces so there's not much editorial consistency and almost zero oversight.
So they letting any amateur blogger run around "reporting" "news"? Forbes really shameless:mjlol:

took the link outta the op, these guys shouldnt be getting clicks. and fukk google news for havin it as the top result for nas last night.

The difference is, while fans and critics still want to crucify West for his asinine public behavior, they haven’t bothered to hold Nas accountable for the allegations levied against him.

How can you hold someone ACCOUNTABLE from allegations?
It’s crazy. Now that everyone has a blog or some way to slander you, it’s all court of public opinion. Accusations are enough and that’s all they care about. It’s bullshyt. You can’t be accountable for allegations. If you fight too hard you look more guilty. If you stay quiet they think you have something to hide. It’s a double standard. Hopefully Nas is such an out of the spotlight artist that this doesn’t bother him too bad.

Yep, even says under the author's names "Opinions expressed by Forbes Contributors are their own."

I have no clue why they do this because there's so much half-assed stuff in there ruining their brand/rep, but I guess the clicks help to turn a profit, and legally they can claim it's just a blog and they have no control over the opinions expressed.

According to this article, they don't even left you correct mistakes once you hit submit:
How Being A Forbes Contributor Works

What the Forbes model of contributed content means for journalism
Two years ago, Forbes.com was a news website like most others.

Today, it is less website, more operating system -- an underlying layer of technology that hundreds of contributors use to publish independently.

Lewis DVorkin, who kickstarted the model at True/Slant and since 2010 has honed it for Forbes.com as chief product officer, calls it “incentive-based, entrepreneurial journalism.”
