Gibbs is a one trick pony. Street tales ad nauseum over dope beats. Breh needs to work on his enunciation too -- after a while his songs sounds like constant mumbling. Gibbs is dope, but what memorable verses/bars does Gibbs have?
DOOM has him on creativity, bars, double entrendres, humor, subject matter. It's not even close. The only cons I can think of regarding DOOM is that he's not as active and his flow is an acquired taste.
But if you can get over both those things, you'll clearly see that DOOM is the better emcee.

his versatility and how good he sounds covers up that he's not that nice as people think he is/want him to be.
he got some nice throw away lines but his bars not sticking to you like that.
the two biggest take aways from the album have been
that Pusha T verse and Madlibs greatness, enhanced with the revelation that he did the beats on the album on his ipad.

My opinion might not hold as much weight because it took me a few years to get into Doom. Like, I checked Operation Doomsday but Doom didn't really like for me until Madvillainy.
At this point in time? Yeah I think Gibbs is better. The last few Doom joints I've heard have been cool but nothing mind blowing. Doom in his prime? I'd have to think about that. Honestly I'm not trying to cop out but they're so different I have a hard time comparing them. I'll just say right now I'd rather hear Montana than Madvillainy 2.

While I appreciate the effort that has to go into breaking down rapping in this way, I also think it's borderline absurd and a silly way to compare rappers. There are so many more interesting ways to discuss who is doper than by comparing numbers of words and syllables used.
