Gibbs surprisingly got a lot cac hipster fans. I remember going to the Shadow of Doubt listening party, nikkas was so far in between I was able to get in free after being mistaken to be part Gibbs entourage. I don't how if it was how I dressed like probably like your typical la hood nikka or I had doppelganger running around. After watching the clip

I can respect where he's coming from. Madvillainy is the bar as far as MadlibxRapper projects and you most certainly should feel like you should want to surpass it if you're working with Madlib. Hiphop as a whole should be competitive and once dudes get comfortable, sounds get stake and stagnant.

HOWEVER

Gibbs ain't seeing Doom on the mic as far as lyrics. Flow sure, but lyrics? Not at all.



Holla at me when Gibbs crafts a verse as socially relevant and as scathing as the 2nd verse on this joint.

And I'm willing to bet money he'll go back and retract this like the last few times he jumped out the window :lupemperor:
