Yeah, there was zero issues after Covert Coup. Alc has actually thanked Spitta for not doing a proper rollout because he said that taught him how to adapt and change his mindset of releasing music. And they did Carrolton Heist. And Continuance just a few years ago (and 3 years after Fetti), and Spitta and Al just released a loosie less than 2 years ago.

I appreciate the Twitter links, but I find it real hard to believe there's serious beef between Alc and Spitta just based on what that dude is saying.
And he was on the great escape 2 years ago.

My Pops Forever RIP
So basically Gibbs failed to realize who he was collaborating with…
and remember how Alfredo wound up nominated for a Grammy?

Freddie really thought Fetti was gonna be that kind of project, but Spitta just treated it like every other project he did which pissed off Gibbs.
I do remember when Gibbs got jumped by Benny and his crew, Spitta that same day put out a IG caption where he said something like "all you can do is sit back and laugh"

Front to back this shyt is :ohlawd:

I’ve listened three times in my office while working from home, then gave it the whip test and that certified it. It sounded even better :wow:

Alc completely laced this (as expected) and Gibbs doing Gibbs. He can rap you can’t take that away from him. All cornball antics aside.

Lemon Pepper Steppers, Ensalada, Empanadas, Skinny Suge 2, I Still Love H.E.R., Shangri La, Lavish Habits all standouts. The whole project is really but after day one these are getting the most repeat plays from me.

We been blessed with some dope projects the past few weeks :blessed:

What exactly was their dispute about again? I feel like it was some one-sided bullshyt cause Spitta don’t bother nobody
Gibbs wanted to treat Fetti like an album and do promo, press, and music videos, and felt like Spitta treated it like a throwaway mixtape. And Gibbs treats his catalogue very seriously, rarely if ever dropping more than once per year. And he always felt salty about that

Only place I see now is eBay, if you're willing to pay a higher price..but I initially saw em at the Alfredo store Gibbs has posted in his link to bio on IG

I ended up getting the Turntable Lab special edition "Marinara/Oxblood" version, on pre-order.

Ordered it like 2 mins after they sent the email. They had the "limit one per customer" sh*t on it. So I couldn't get my usual doubles. But I was happy earlier to see that it shipped out today. Dudes on eBay are trying to push it for $90 now. Sh*t is ridiculous.

So again, seems like Freddie failed to realize who he was collaborating with.

Like he NEVER had these conversations with the man while they were writing, recording, picking beats, sequencing, mastering, selecting album art, choosing release dates, clearing samples, etc? Spitta was just supposed to do the shyt he rarely does because thats what Gibbs ASSUMED was going to happen?

Gibbs is a gifted rapper but i’ll be damned if he isn’t one of the top 5 most self-sabotaging, annoying, pieces of shyt Hip Hop has ever seen. Spitta probably couldn’t WAIT to be rid of that nikka five minutes after Fetti was finished and in the can.

I’d never argue that Gibbs isn’t a self sabotager but to be fair man we have no
Idea what was or wasn’t discussed between them behind the scenes. We have no idea if Spitta said he’d do more and then didn’t. Or maybe they just never talked about it. I think it’d be pretty crazy for none of the 3 of them to have a discussion together about marketing the project but who knows.

Spitta also generally films videos and stuff. I dunno. He filmed plenty of videos for Continuance.

I have no idea what happened
