This album is more monotone than the first one and I can see why it could turn some people off. I like the production on here better and I can easily listen from the beginning to the end w/o skipping any songs because I like more chill music in general.
As for Gibbs issues with Spitta, I feel that they just handle promotion differently and Gibbs felt so type of way that Curren$y was moving on to the next. That has always been his style and I can't fault him for doing what best for him. If Freddie wanted to make the album bigger than it was, then they should have made clear communication from the start and everyone should be on the same page. Translation got lose and feelings got hurt. It is what it is but hopefully they can end this beef over time. We all know that Freddie is emotional and erratic so his behavior is not surprising.
