Whatever you want to admit it or not, They put a MAJOR investment in this dude. He was anointed as the next to blow from NY, He was on magazine covers, he had A list features, Khalid production, Promotion from both MMG, Diddy, and was featured on damn near every hot record out on radio along with having a hit record of his own with Pop Dat. He deserve to flop because of not only his wack ass rapping but it seemed that he didn't even try to put together a memorable cohesive album. He wanted to adapt the quick, rinse and sell formula thinking he can do easy numbers and it blew up in his face
That should be the wakeup to rappers that you can't do that simple "feature every hot rapper of the moment" and don't have nothing to really say formula. Game tried that DJ Khalid compilation style and can't even crack Gold.

I never said sales = quality but it does equal success . I can't sit here and listen to a bunch of spin about how him selling 50,000 is a success to interscope . Puffy and Ross didn't cosign him for this type of sales they didn't . No one can be happy with just making their money back , it's not like French brings other components to the table . He doesn't produce or songwrite as far as I know
