I know alot of yall love that bum Rubio so my posts gonna make yall mad but hes trash

He's always been trash and he always will be trash

And yes I want Dunn to start immediately

Hes nba ready right now,no point in sitting him when your starting PG is Ricky fukking Rubio
I'll just say it once and keep it moving.

You don't get it.

Well, last night was interesting.

I'll start by saying this: none of what I'll say is an indictment on Kris Dunn or a lack of endorsement of him or the pick. However I trust Thibs the executive a lot less after last night.

Thibs didn't have a good night, not because he took Dunn, but because he's willing to trade the most important player on the team and front like they're getting better when in reality he's throwing next season away. Never mind the faith he'd conceivably be putting in Dunn. Now he'd be willing to say "If Dunn gets hurt (and he gets hurt just as much as Rubio) then I'm trusting Tyus fukking Jones to lead this team to wins." Hard to do that when Jones is just a mascot.

Dunn as our backup PG is a good thing. If he PROVES he's better at helping this team win than Rubio, that's a great thing. It's a great problem to have. It improves our bench scoring AND defense. Why nobody notices that is crazy.

That said, this team continues to run away from good shooters and that they can't justifiably explain. They ran away from Hield /Murray only to do what? Attempt to pay someone $15 mil a year to do the same thing? That prevents the team from addressing their other big need: who's alongside Towns?

But even then, that wasn't the biggest issue, hell not even the Butler talks (though if LaVine's the reason why Butler's not here, Lord help us). If it's true that Philly offered Noel, Covington, Luwawu and Korkmaz and all they wanted was Dunn and Thibs /Layden said no, they're idiots. That fixes pretty much everything.

That's where I'm at on this

If Dunn is just a better player than Hield/Murray its a great pick. If Dunn is actually a 2 way player then its a great pick. The draft shouldn't be about improving your team right away but building for the future. Our need for shooting right now may not be our need in a few years. For instance what if Lavine and Wiggins keep up their shooting from the 2nd half of the year? Then all the sudden we've got 2 near 40% 3 pt shooters plus Towns who can shoot in our starting lineup and we're looking back realizing we didn't need Hield/Murray, 2 guys who can literally only shoot. And we also don't need to sign anyone long term this year or pay $15 mil for a shooter right now. They're still building. If Dunn is the truth Rubio can get moved for shooting/pieces next summer. Same for the Pek contract.

I wonder if they think Deing is the player they want next to Towns :patrice:

On offense it works.

Defensively I want Dieng off this team.

They don't need to have a finished product this year. They can build over the next few years. Dieng is aiight so there's no rush to get rid of him if there isn't a good replacement.

They still need shooting because Wiggins shot well from 3 but he practically stopped shooting 3's. Zach's not reliable. The shooting woes aren't gonna be solved by internal improvement. They can't rely on that.

Defensively thibs and Dunn fit together from past experience with rose.
Yet, offensively Dunn is going to have to show supreme pedigree as a facilitator with thibs.
So, that is the bonus and upside with the dunn Pick.
If Dunn comes in and shows dominate pedigree over Rubio and also an upside as a scorer over Rubio.

I don't like this pick because it takes the wolves from a mismatch in paper at the one every night via size with Zack.
To a regular run of the mill thibs by bulls standard numbers squad.
When this squad has way higher and more draft pedigree and talent than the bulls under garpax/thibs had.

Ain't Dunn like 6'4? So they wouldn't be that much smaller with him at point instead of Lavine who i'm still not sold on as a the primary ballhandler and decision maker.

You just making stuff up now. He shot 2.4 3's per game pre all star at 24% and 2.3 3's per game post all star at 41% so where are you getting that he just stopped taking 3s (and he only took 1.6 3's per game his rookie year)? And since when can't shooting woes be solved by 2 guys entering their 3rd year who both shot well above league average from 3 the second half of the year which also coincided with Lavine moving to the starting 2 guard spot? And oh yea, Lavine went from 34% on 3.1 per game (not bad for a 2nd year guy) to 43.7% on 5.4 per game post all star. Those are legit shooting numbers for both so explain why its unreliable?

Did this dude tremont really just say Rubio is the most important player on the T'Wolves? More than KAT? I can't take you seriously anymore breh. I'll read ya mock drafts and take your comments about other teams seriously but you got some fkin blinders on if you believe that.
