nikkas acting like they don't play games on windows now

neither company is gonna admit anything is wrong. and not affecting their plans doesn't mean it won't affect the priceBoth companies have said that covid19 hasn't affected their plans for launching next generation. I expect console shortages, not a expensive price point.
Both companies understand that a price point above $500 is infeasible. Both companies understand that consoles are sold at a loss and that majority of the profits comes from software and accessories.neither company is gonna admit anything is wrong. and not affecting their plans doesn't mean it won't affect the price
I'm only saying that the manufacturing cost might have changed since it leaked in February. Has covid19 even had a drastic effect on the cost of any tech releasing this year?
Both companies sound pretty positive about the systems coming out at an affordable price.I'm only saying that the manufacturing cost might have changed since it leaked in February. I understand that they may be willing to eat that difference to hit a certain price point
I don't know if we've seen any direct effect yet on the price of tech. but most stuff releasing recently was probably pretty much ready before all this started. it's the more long term effects that I think are unknown
The total manufacturing cost of the system was already leaked at $450.
How did you come to the conclusion that the system would launch for $700?

Probably cost 100 to make but "leaked" an inflated base cost to justify an inflated price.
With the parts used to make these systems, I doubt it.Probably cost 100 to make but "leaked" an inflated base cost to justify an inflated price.
Still coping though![]()

They are already getting these parts for a massive discount. That $450 figure already takes into account mass scale bulk prices. Some of these parts aren't even available to the public yet.Mass scale though?
And Sony is in japan which is closee to China who owns the largest amount of rare earth mineral used to make chips, semi conductors.
Who said that?
game designers

Yall gonna be hype off some basic launch title games like ratchet and clank, and a couple teaser trailers for games that drop in like 3 years.
And I hope they prove me wrong and give me a reason to pick up a PS5 at launch.
