Man.. Try having this debate with hip hop "fans" in real life.

They'll say Eminem just off the narrative... My final say is always bruh go for a drive, wind ur windows down and turn that em shyt loud... You're gonna be looking like a real victim on road.

People who grew up listening to em and having hearing other GOATs always riding his nutsack will permanently have this idea that he's untouchable mc but rarely have they gone back and listened to those albums again as an adult. It's cringe worthy shyt.

Hear you... but I wouldn't rock with a lot of hip hop content as an adult...

Do you still play Doggystyle or the Chronic whenever ?

To me Game's peak was 2012-2016 specifically Jesus Piece, Documentary 2 + 2.5 and 1992. Far as straight up spitting, songwriting, storytelling, concepts, overall quality of the product. But he was independent most that time so the audience shrunk

Boy you know something...

Game and Rick Ross are the two most underrated rappers who were once superstars. Cats really treat these dudes like they average and both are clearly deserving of being mentioned as All-Timers. The quality of their work holds up well compared to damn near anyone...

Old dudes on here talk about Game's early career (00s/pre-2010) with reverence, and to be fair, there are gems in his early career, particularly of course The Documentary and tracks off his other early work. But mid-career he hit a different level of artistry and lyricism beginning with Jesus Piece, that continued to elevate as you mentioned thru 1992. Old nikkas stuck in the 90s and 00s missed this version of Game at his absolute apex, and while he always had above average lyrical ability and song-making, anyone who missed this mid-career run and speaks on Game is outta pocket...

He's one of the greatest rappers of his era, you can't make a Top 25 list of the 2000-to-present without him, which makes him comfortably one of the 50 greatest rappers ever. Cats should put a lot more respect on his name...

If Em only had his first 3 albums + the 8 Miles soundtrack, I would've gave it to him.

But all that crap he put out after really lowered the level of greatness of his discography.

You brought your Coliseum-style analysis to The Booth. Well done.

you liked encore?

Encore could have and would have been a better album if it wasn't for the leaks/Eminem starting to turn into a full-blown drug addict.
