First listen, no tomatoes por favor
01. Intro is nice, live vocals over some of their greatest instrumentals 7/10
02. Lights out, Guru's verse stands out, MOP do their thing as well, beat is ganggang 7/10
03. Bad news, my fav from the 2 singles 8/10
04. Hit man, beat is kinda generic to me, Q-Tip doesn't really work for me here 05/10
05. What's real, Royce steals the show as somewhat expected, starting to sound a bit like Guru is the featured artist 8/10
06. Interlude, N/A
07. From a distance, decent album cut 07/10
08. Family and loyalty, personally didn't love the Cole feature but i get it, 7/10
09. Get together, like the sound, ''ladies track'' somewhat, neyo's hook acceptable 6/10
10. Another interlude, N/A
11. So many rappers, nothing special 6/10
12. Business or Art, don't love the Snoop sample since im so used to hear it so much already on gangstarr material, not the biggest talib fan either 6/10
13. Bring it back here, 1 minute freestyle 6/10
14. Last interlude, Big Shug ''singing''
15. Take flight, okeish like the whole album 7/10
16. Bless the mic, strong closer, 8/10
Album is just over half an hour, guess Premier did what he could, don't think this will change their legacy in anyway but it was good to hear ''new Guru'' nonetheless
7/10 RIP GURU
