Gen Z breh: I'm 25 and have no friends

What kind of friends does he want? That's the important part. I have a few friends I been friends with since we were kids. Day 1's. It's a little late in life for breh to build up that kind of bond with people. If he has cousins or siblings around the same age then unfortunately those are gonna be your friends going forward if you don't have any true day 1's.

Aside from that, there's people in my life I consider friends but do I trust them the same way? Not really, I trust them to an extent but probably never as much as a day 1.

Thing is, when you get a little older you don't really want a lot of friends. You don't need people hanging around, kissing ass, don't do like these celebs do. Keep your circle small.

Just gotta have friends that evolve with your purpose. If they bringing up shıt, 20, 30 years ago, you gotta limit yourself.

I had a friend like this. We had known each other since 5th grade and we actually got an apartment at one point when we were like 20. He was always wanting to talk about the past and what we used to do and I'm like breh we aren't even old yet...

He ended up gettin a girl pregnant soon after and settling down and then I never really heard from him again which is fine, go head and raise your family, he wasn't built to grow any further than he had.

The only benefit to having a lot of people around is networking. Providing value. Other than that, less is more.

if you notice people are falling away, check in with them, make plans with them
and most importantly show up for them when they need you (example: invite you to events). thats how you maintain friendships

i am 31 and have made new friends recently even from mentoring younger alumni in my field, helping ppl at the gym etc
i am a rather introverted person as well.

most of my friends are from elementary/high school though

it’s not hard to make friends. just talk to mfs like u knew em for 10 years plus…learn how to shoot the shyt….be funny…most important is be a good listener..show value in someway

I've had 8 close friends for over 30 years. Through good and bad but we build each other up. May only talk once every few months but when we do it's like no time has passed. I could call any of them for help and I would not be let down and vice versa. It's a beautiful thing. And yes most of us are married. It's just a bond

Friends come and go. Had the same best friend since I was 7. The others I make and lose as time goes on, and it doesn't bother me at all.

I also have a family, so a lot of my time goes into them. When I was a single breh, I had more time to spend with others.

If the guy in the video wants friends, he should go out and make some and stop making videos about it.

I didn't watch since it's 20 damn minutes, but dudes need to stop being so fukking soft and scary. fukkin talk to your coworkers and hang out with the cool ones. Get involved in a sport or gym and learn to make small talk. Check out online meetup groups for events. Go to a bar ffs. No excuse to not have friends if you want them unless you're unlikeable garbage, and even unlikeable garbage can befriend codependent people.
