It's not about grilling, you go on the show to reach the audience, if the audience is decisively voting one way with less than 3 months to the election, you maximize your time elsewhere.

You spend time with democratic voters to ensure they get to the polls and can influence others to get to the polls. Being a life long voting democrat doesn't mean anything if you don't cast a ballot.

While the bolded would be great i am however of the mindset that none of these people outside of walz are whom you'd want to go on a podcast representing regular people. That's the real problem with the democratic party, it comes off as some elitist boys/girls club that is profoundly out of touch with everyday people. Come on, they did that. The ground game was there. Harris campaign ran up a $1.5 billion tab on it. There was plenty of Dem voter outreach and they did it well. The base was energized. Kamala was packing stadiums with rallies focused on getting out the dem vote.
