from my own experiences, people who consider themselves to be hardcore nfl fans (though they often don't know shyt) are the worst in a sports bar setting

The loudest most obnoxious people at any sporting event are almost always the dumbest. I can't tell you how many heat games I've been too where these loud-ass screaming cacs don't even know basic ref signals or calls.

It's one thing to yell and show emotion in tight moments pause or when a great play is made, but these are the people that literally screaming from start to finish.

We'd be just as impatient with some white QB only there would be a honeymoon period that Geno didn't get. By and large, the route of having a legendary defense and a "game manager" is the road less traveled and it's one that a) Jets fans don't believe in and b) one this team can't realistically accomplish

defense varies way more from a year to year basis than offense does...its why getting stability from the QB is so vital for sustainable success.

I'm clearly saying that the factors that I have a long said affected him ( horrible receiving core, Bad play guard ) was mostly responsible for his poor play. Once those things changed, his play improved! That is the reason why I believe he will play better. If he played poorly with the changes I asked for then I would agree with you. any team can realistically accomplish that. whether or not you believe in it doesn't matter. the defense got you as far as youve been since your only win, and you still dont believe in it

cant feel sorry for fans that are stubborn as fukk and would sell their souls for magically getting a hall of fame qb opting for the 'magic' route instead of working slowly and surely on building a team.

and building a defense-oriented team is much cheaper nowadays too. you can get 3-4 quality defensive players for the price of above average qb.

We've been fed game manager after game manager after game manager (other than the 1 year Favre experiment). We're tired of it, especially in a league where one great QB changes shyt (in that respect I see where @Trip comes from)

as for how the defense is structured, they're not going that route. We're burning first rounders every year on em. Snacks is the only UDFA who starts. We're giving David Harris $21 mil to run behind receivers yet Mo Wilkerson can't get an extension. I'm not saying we don't like defense; I'm saying we don't value the other side of the ball, and the strategy of "well hopefully the QB don't fukk up" is a flawed strategy.
