i mean i can get deep into as to why, but i just don't like ghost more than big, i might come back and explain but if not take it how you take it.
i fux with ghost, he's very consistent but he's not the easiest listen, i kinda have to fukk with him in spurts rather than full albums, especially post ironman, i don't herald SC or BW as masterpieces like some nikkas do.

Even if you take sales out of it. If you did a poll amongst rap fans your telling me Ghost would be considered a better emcee than Biggie? Again Big is already considered Top Teir emcee which is why he get compared to the Rakim's, KRS, Pac's, Jay's and NaS's. Forget sales and charts. What Ghost solo album is more critically acclaimed than "RTD and LAD"? "36 Chambers" and "Cuban Linx" are the only Wu projects comparable to any of Big's work as far as impact on Hip Hop culturally and neither were Ghost solo albums even though he was heavily featured.
Prolly has a lot to do w/ the fact that Ghost's voice is so annoyingly high pitched and quirky, while Big sounded like a Quiet Storm 104.1 Jazz DJ, with the smoothness and richness in his voice.

Nope, ghost on impossible was a better display of emotion than any big joint, and tjat wasn't even a sad song.

I am the biggest Biggie fan on Earth but to say Ghost isn't on his "tier" exposes you as a biased dikkrider or a person not familiar with his work. Ghost has put out nearly 20 years worth of A-list MC material and you got the gall to say he's not in the upper class of MC's? You sound stupid. For edification purposes some of ya'll need to go and actually listen to his albums and stop posting about shyt you're clearly unfamiliar with. One dude in here got the gall to say that Ghosts' voice doesn't allow him to take him seriously 
Bullet Of Wallets is not considered a classic. I've never heard that before.
I think Big is more versatile. Literally every conceivable rap song you can imagine is included on LAD and RTD is on a higher pantheon than Ghost's first two solos. Also - Ghost was never "the" rapper like BIG in 94-95 (and 97 would have been his had he lived - instead we got a bunch of video with Puff and Mase floating around).
That being said - Ghost did contribute heavily to OBFCL and was a part of 36.
At the end of the day I'm going with BIG - but it's close.
at people talking about 2 BIG albums....one of which ("LAD") was underwhelming when it dropped.....are better than 20+ years of verses and 10 Ghost albums.The power of an untimely death, ladies and gentlemen. It cannot be beat.

And for the record, if we're talking the same time frame, "Ready To Die", through BIG's death, ok. But

Ghostface falls in the Top 25-50 Emcees in my opinion. Biggie is a Top 10 emcee. With that said he's apart of the Legendary Wu which is a Top 5 Hip Hop group ever.
