Going in having not heard a single thing from this album :wow:
I peeped the couple tracks that were available while waiting on the spotify countdown, bout to sit with the album for a full listen now, Ghost is capable of making a strong project and Mass Appeal is a good place to be releasing this from cause its not like a typical label where they're gonna press the artist for radio or popular trendy shyt but it's not so underground that they dont have the means to bring to life the artists ideas in terms of features or producers or samples or proper mixing and mastering

The record gets better as it progresses. The beginning feels like newer tracks. Hard to believe that 4th Disciple did not come better than this. There should have been more Wu member features, plus RZA. Beat Box should've gone full electro. GZA sounds good. I was scared when I saw NEMS and the rest on a track; it sounds better than the track with Conway and Styles. Didn't know what to think of Zoom, it fits with You Ma Friend.

A mix of newer Ghost, Supreme type sounds and Wizard of Poetry. I guess the best we can expect from today's Ghost.

Needs more listens.

This ain’t it. I’m just not interested in what he’s saying on here. Beats are not great. A few standout joints. Definition of a mixed bag.

This is pretty much the best you’re gonna get from Ghost these days from a rapping standpoint. It’s on par with what he’s been releasing the past 10+ years.

Metaphysics is clearly from an entire different era completely :russ: dope track.

Track is prolly 15+ years old.

The album does end strong.
I’m a huge Ghostface fan! This album is beyond subpar for him calling it SC2!!! What he’s missing is the arrogant cocky Ghost of the SC era, no way reek da villain and NEMS deserved to be on an album of this caliber/hype!

As much people hate to say it, SC was what it was cause He had amazing production overseen by The RZA and style influenced by Lord Superb! This album has no replay value for me!

The GZA sounded his age, 62 years old lol

Final thought: album sounded like a Ghostface presents subpar rappers and subpar beats!

Yeah, Ghostface delivered. The album is a throw back to great breakbeats, 70s vintage era, Candy shop got me high off all his rhymes about substances and I'm sober.

Very, very dope album. We'll see over time.

But honestly at the end of the album the vibe feels right. It sounds like the perfect Supreme Clientele sequel to me.

Grateful he made this. Word.
