Coulda called it ‘The Killah Tapes’
Word, call it anything but SC2 unless you went in with the intention of creating a sequel, which many e he did, I only skimmed the articles where he talks about it being old tracks but he wasnt really clear on if these tracks were made back then with SC2 in mind or if they're just old tracks and he put them together recently and decided to turn it in as SC2

Here's one of the articles he mentions it

OB4CL2 really the outlier when it comes to these sequel albums.

I'm actually a bit concerned for the Premier and Nas.

If it's like the recent Nas Preem breakbeat beats. I'm concerned.

If it's 90s premier, Illmatic, Nas is like Premier than it has the potential to blow away rap for the good to the next level.

I pray it's going to be the great version of them both. I have faith.
I have zero expectations for that record and even less now that I have to wonder if its gonna be a bunch 9f the unreleased leftovers they've done over the years with a couple new tracks tacked on, personally I'm anticipating KD4 more than the Premo one tbh

Edit - but I recognize what a Premo/Nas album means to a certain demographic of Nas fans so for that segment of the populace I hope its everything they hope it is

The only issue I have with this is that the album shouldn't be called "Supreme Clientele 2" it should of been named something else maybe akin to the "Lost Tapes" series like Nas did with his stuff. This is definitely worth a listen especially with getting to hear new Ghost especially since he is actually enjoying himself in this. Also get to hear old unreleased songs from him too.

I had too bruh :russ:

I did the same thing after listening to Red’s Muddy Waters Too (immediately had to listen to Rock Da Spot, Iz He 4 Real and Case Closed)

I do the same thing!

When you hear some weak sh*t, you have to make yourself forget by throwing on something dope. LOL!!

Ghost knows mad songs on this project are like 20 years old, lol. His voice isn't even consistent on the album. So it seems like he may have only recorded a few of these recently. But it's the same issue like with Rae's album, these dudes refuse to pay for good production or a seasoned A&R. With this one, it just seems like Ghost was on some lazy sh*t, threw this together with mad random songs he already had in the stash and then slap the SC name on it.

These Mass Appeal releases been shaky like a MF!
