I agree. They're getting old and don’t have the energy to sound motivated and enthusiastic on tracks.

Floods or not, I know RZA sitting on a treasure trove of stuff. I truly only care about 1993-1997/98 for the group overall, but any unreleased ghost stuff could from from 93-2007 and still be fire

OB4CL2 only had 3 tracks done by those guys outta like 25, and it was OUTSTANDING.

I'd be cool w/ them working with producers like Alc, and Darringer, other Griselda producers that can capture the similar vibe of Wu Elements

I don't know bruh, that one was largely seen as mid....Even Meth, Rae & Ghost themselves. That was a rushed joint trying to capitalize off the buzz Cuban Linx 2 had. And still, that was a looong time ago in rap.
I'm a Wu head to the death, but it's truthfully been so long since something has made me go . Last I can think is the RZA joints on Lost Tapes 2...and who knows how old those beats were...oh and that track Meth made with Havoc. The announcement of them doing an album together sounded great, but that was another project that is never going to happen probably


Do they even perform stuff from the last decade in their shows?

Wu-Tang Clan & The Alchemist should make an album. No brainer. I probably said that earlier in the thread.

I like Wu post 2000, still had records I like but they just seem scattered. It just takes good management and coordination and they can still drop dope albums. Most of them still regularly drop feature verses that are fire.

I'll listen to ANYTHING competent rapper with the alchemist. no questions asked.

You talked a little bit about your passion for being a music curator. Who are some artists that you’d like to EP a project for, outside of the Griselda orbit?

I mean, that’s what I do anyway. I curate. So once I stop, I’m about to just focus on that anyway. I had already approached a couple of artists about doing something. I felt like doing something with Jada right now, while all eyes is on Jada, he should let me curate or provide the soundtrack for him to just come body. I feel it’d actually even be his best project.

I done already hit up Raekwon to try to do an old school, grimey Raekwon and Ghostface project, but I curate it. I could do something for Anderson .Paak. Switch it all the way up. Melanie Charles. Somebody that could just sing, got a beautiful voice, and could play instruments. Then I just come and provide the soundtrack and we just cook up and add those crazy MCs on top of this shyt and make it special. I’m about to start doing all of that now. It’s not even about me no more. I don’t have to rhyme to still give you those same results.
