Listening to it right now, man his voice is shot :sadcam:

He's still spitting though and needs a Ricola.

I wonder why his voice got like that.

He's not known as a big weed smoker albeit the photo of him with a spliffs in the o.g S.C.

Could be medication.

And I watched his live shows from early 2000s. He's basically screaming on the mic.

Too much of that too long isn't good for the vocal chords.

I have 0 expectations or knowledge of how that album is gonna be.

I just went googaling around and I guess the family released a statement saying its gonna be tracks that have been taken down from streaming the past few years, freestyles and "a couple surprises"

I imagine there has to be some amount of unreleased Wolf Pack songs, maybe they'll be the "couple surprises"

I guess the songs removed off streaming needed samples cleared or producers credited or paid so Mass Appeal helped get all that situated, track down who did the beats or what the samples were etc, so the bulk of the album will be the best quality versions of stuff we already heard on those 2000s Big L compilations, which I guess I would rather that than another cut n paste job like Big Picture, was hoping there was a bunch of unreleased songs we never knew about or maybe a partially completed shelved project or something but sounds like its not gonna be much unheard joints

I haven’t even listened yet and his voice is my main concern. Ghost used to be able to flip from menacing to whimsical of a vocal inflection. I’m still going to give this a spin.

Yall bugging comparing this to Fishscale...no way is this close to that album

It's not bad though but you can definitely tell Ghost was going for a Supreme Clientele feel but it just doesn't hit the same. SC was lightning in a bottle you can just create something like that, it has to be universally created.

Off one listen it feels good having a competent Ghostface album to listen to again but I'll probably keep a few songs and enjoy those.
