Bronze Nazareth should have laced this for Ghost. Album is good but would have been a much better album with him on the boards

I haven't been able to get though a complete listening yet. It just feels like a lazy cash grab.

That's pretty much the vibe, for me too.

This is some lazy sh*t from Ghost. He spent the promo run acting like he was recording this and intentionally wanted to make a "masterpiece", but made sure not to mention that a lot of this sh*t was 20+ years old. Basically tried to scam the fans. And then calling it SC2 was really just done for marketing and hype purposes. I can respect Chef's effort because he actually went in and recorded a project that I think was pretty solid, but just not great. He seemed to be focused though.

Ghost just pieced some bullsh*t together and threw out a project. Bro ain't got it no more.

Break Beats and Break Box should have been split up away from each other. Slows the album down as it stands.

I’m on my 6th listen.

I mentioned before that I’d take the best tracks out to use elsewhere. But i’m happy with the album as is.

Just that SC2 name….Self destructive behaviour.

Ghost is in my top 5 ever but this shyt is trash. Boring samples. Horrible mixing. shyt sounds like it was recorded in a broom closet. All the sounds in the beats feel like they're competing with eachother. Like that "Curtis may" track. It's actually a dope sample, but the keys are so drowned out by that loud ass cymbal hit. That shyt is jarring as fukk and literally hurts the ears. There's no excuse for this. They coulda found some no name engineer off YouTube and gave him pennies to clean this shyt up.

Sounds like you are explaining exactly what made the 90s Wu Tang production popular.

Someone needs to edit this album to two versions. Split one with the older sounding tracks, and the other version, the newer sounding generic stuff.

I really wish Westside Gunn would have Ex. produced this album like he wanted.

Really surprised with the negative reactions in this thread. This sounds like classic Ghost to me. This is easily his best since Fishscale.

Iron Man, Curtis May, 4th Disciple, Windows, Georgy Porgy, Break Beats, Rap Kingpin, Metaphysics, The Trial, Candyland, Zoom & You Ma Friend are all incredible to me. Feels like I am listening to a different album than what some of you are listening to.

He brought the energy, the stories, humor, etc. Couldn't ask more from Ghost. The best of the Legend Has It albums imo.

Every interview he’s done he’s been upfront and honest about which songs are older and which songs are newer. He’s been open about the process of recording the album and why he chose to go about it the way he did.

If you don’t like the album thats cool because its your opinion. But you don’t gotta lie to kick it breh
