if you have some money (or at least hang out in places where people with money are) its REALLY easy to meet all kinds of folks.

When Gil and Crittendon got caught up Gil did exactly what he’s doing now, making a mockery of it, not taking it serious, jokes. Including that famous pregame pic

Crittendon said his lawyer/the commish told him ‘Y’all are in this together, whatever he (Gil) does will affect your case’.

So on top of the actual incident, Gil being Gil could have got Crittenton a harsher sentence, was part of why he never got signed again, which was what led him back to the streets catching a body a year later
