No woman in my generation can cook better than me, their mom's ? Maybe.

True. My wife does everything else except cook. And I'm a 100% better cook than her. But she can't stand shyt not being clean and a bunch of junk. Cheapskate too which is VERY handy.

I can deal with cooking in my situation considering that. She does a little cooking, but it don't hit.

You're playing yourself if you even let things get to the point where that person is your girlfriend.

Knowing how to cook for yourself and clean up after yourself is basic shyt you should have figured out before you're 25. If you're both working full time, develop a system. You cook, she cleans. You clean, she cooks or you both do both at the same time to save time and sharpen eachothers skills.

But this thing of committing to a woman who still needs to be picked up after and needs someone to cook for her is some dumb shyt. You aren't a surrogate parent.

As a man whose roommate is a messy cook, let me personally say that I hate nikkas like you two. fukking rice all over the countertop when making something as simple as just buttered rice in a rice cooker.

At least you kats clean though. This fat, pasty-white fukk will leave dirty dishes on the counter for weeks until he gets off his ass and realizes the shyt. I can understand being a messy cook, but his parents need to be drawn and quartered for allowing someone like that to make it into society

I don’t know how the rice gets on the counter during the transport from the cooked to the bowl. I also can’t stir stuff without it spilling over the side.



But I don’t leave the counter dirty, and I will not let the dishes sit there until she comes home.

Low key, cleaning requires skill too. I wasnt raised doing it, then I went away for hs (the period when I shoulda been tightening up my skills). I cleaned my room, but never, like, a whole bathroom.

I had to learn the proper tools, the right order, the right cleansers to clean all the different surfaces. It shocked me how much I didnt know, huuuuuge gap in my education.

It does but learning how to clean is relatively quick.

Cooking takes time to learn and get good at, especially with a lot of passed down recipes not using any measurements and just eyeballing everything.

I've been cleaning from a young age so it comes easy to me. Being able to sweep, wash dishes, the bathroom, etc.

And in recent years I've learned more about landscaping.. cutting the grass is one thing but pruning branches, trees, hedges etc.

Ive been cooking from a young age so I never had trouble there. Even when I fukk up, I know how to fix it and make it fire.

But cleaning was hard. Then you have to calibrate how often to clean different shyt bc a general 1×/wk plan don't work for everything. I finally got it all the way together, then we upgraded to a house with three damn bathrooms.
I'm good tho, it's just funny to me, not knocking the blessings.
