LOL at this scene combined with this song

lol When yanking came on I knew that the show was legit. I had been going back and forth because of the "minority" comments I heard but the writing is just too unique/real

Only having watched the first episode. I thought the show was wack and didn't bother to give the show the proper chance it deserved, went back and watched episode 2 and I was hooked after that. I ended up watching the entire season on demand in one seating. Whoever said this show was a great dessert following GOT wasn't lying :ahh:. I like the fact that the characters are so flawed, raw and yet still relateable. Them hoes real.

Approached this show with caution but gotta say it's good. And Hannah (Leah Dunham) is putting in work acting in and writing the show, but :scusthov:

Not enough Shoshanna though :noah: Marnie... :pacspit: Jessa :shaq2:

Just watched the whole season. It kept me entertained but Hannah and Marnie are idiots. I actually felt bad for Charlie and Adam after dealing with their nonsense.

I just read that Hannah's love interest for season 2 will be:

a doctor played by Patrick Wilson. I hope this means Donald Glover's character will be hooking up with Marnie or Shoshana.

Hopefully Marnie. I'm not sure if they're gonna bring Jorma (The dude that said he was gonna fukk her like a man) back. They need to keep Ray and Shoshana together.

i hope troy doesn't hook up with anyone. can't he just exist on his own?

ray's character was hilarious with or without shoshanna. in fact i hope they don't stay together in season 2, would be tired

Wasn't gonna give this show a chance after reading about how one of the writers wrote some stupid racial shyt about Pres Obama but I watched the episodes ondemand over the last few days and I gotta admit its a good show. I like shows where the lead character is awkward and flawed. The criticism that I've seen about the show is that it is pretentious and only deals with middle class hipster white girls. And i think, uh so what? Not every show has to have some deep meaning or advocate for something. The girl that created, wrote, and directed the show said it was based on her experiences, well if that doesn't include many or any black or latinos then well that was her life experience. I read that she was going to "address" the lack of diversity in the second season.

Imo, what made the show good to me was the dialogue between the girls, the jewish young white girls. What I don't want to see is a middle class hipster Jewish white girl writing what she thinks would be good dialogue for people she doesnt understand.

Now to other shyt, Allison Williams is fine, she got no add but she's fine. :takedat:

The scene where Hannah's ex tells her he is gay, and tell her her dad is gay also was hilarious
I don't think the lack of diversity was what people complained about. It was more about the fact that when the show first got advertised, it was advertised as a show about "regular girls" that every girl could relate to... In reality it is a show about regular white jewish girls.... Some people just had high expectations for it...:manny:
