Yea I heard Berlin isn’t too pricey. Is this true?

In terms of day to day expenses, it is super cheap considering Germany is one of the most developed countries in the world.
The food + alcohol prices here are comparable to when I was in Ecuador. You can go out to eat for less than 10 Euros, and go out drinking and get wasted for 15 Euros.

As far as rent, I'm not sure yet but I know it's definitely more affordable than NYC. I wonder if part of that is because it's so consistently urban and less space is "wasted" on 1 family houses and low rise buildings.

Also, I don't get the criticisms of German women's looks that I see sometimes.
I really don't find that they look manly on average. I see a lot of cute young chicks over here as well as milfs.
A lot of genuine PAWGs.

No it's because prizes have only been rising since around 2010 when Berlin became the hip place to be. Before that, it was super cheap because after reunification, the city build a lot of housing, but during the 90's and early 2000's, the population didn't increase as dramatically as expected. Back in 2011, I rented a room for 90 euros + utilities. Today, you are lucky to find a room for 500 euros and a tiny one bedroom appartment can cost you as much as a 1000 euros in a trendy district. But that is still far far away from the insanity in places like New York, San Francisco or London.

If you are in Berlin, you need to try Mustafas Gemüse Kebab, it's a variation of Döner, with Chicken and fried vegetables :ahh:. You'll find one at Mehringdam (don't go there, you'll spend two hours waiting in line), at Warschauer Straße and at Hackescher Markt. Thank me later.

No, believe it or not it's actually not super easy to find German restaurants. Near my hotel there are a million Turkish and Arab restaurants, several Italian restaurants, and a few Asian restaurants.
I do want to find a German restaurant when I get the chance.
Go to Nicolaiviertel, next to the Alexanderplatz for traditional German food.

i actually have not been to germany since 2014
i actually am planning on making a trip next year
i want to go visit a nice old lady (turning 90 this year) who is like a grandma to me
you know she's getting up there with the age and i want to see her at least one last time before her time....
anyway, when i go to germany it is usually to hamburg (good friend), herford (i used to visit, but my grandma who lived there passed), munich(good friend)
marburg (my birth city) and frankfurt (my god mother lives there)
knowing so many people saves me a lot of money i'd have otherwise spent on accommodation

really :patrice: i keep hearing the opposite about germany

Spent the first 14 years of my life in DE off and on, there are plenty of racists there as in any majority white country. But to be fair I never experienced any racism there personally, I had to move to America to get my first taste of real racism.

Post some pics breh, damn
:childplease:

I'm not a great picture taker but I do have some that I will share in a bit. I will take a lot of pictures tomorrow since I won't be drinking like I have been for the last 6 days in a row

Worth it?

I’m going back to Europe for the third time this year next Friday, landing in London then going to Amsterdam was thinking of a few days in Berlin

I think it's worth it. Where in Europe have you been before?

As for dirty places: I'm not into banging prostitutes but my friends got some. One of them spent 800 Euros already :picard:

I did do an erotic massage in Berlin, though. The chick I had was actually hot. It cost 60 Euros for half an hour. You meet whatever girls are available and take your pic.

The street hookers in Hamburg were actually really cute, they just looked like regular attractive young chicks instead of bimbos. They have a red light district too, that's a block long. It's shielded from view and women are barred, presumably to reduce shame level :heh:
The ones in the brothels were mostly hot.

There was a brothel right next to our hotel that advertisee 39 Euro sex. No way would I want to be seen walking out of that shyt even at 3AM :heh:
