Could be worse if you live in Canada. Mass Immigration has destroyed their job market.

That’s really it. People think that they’re supposed to take some classes as a teenager that are going to set them up financially for life, and it just doesn’t work like that. You have to keep grinding, learning new skills, building yourself up. And unless you got a large sum of money to invest, or you are able to build that sum and invest it, you’re always gonna have to keep hustling.Better learn to code some shyt that disrupts the algorithm and keeps your data out of the hands of thesebilldata collectors, and get your money from sellin' the app or software. I was going to take some CS courses and get a lil' certificate in data science 'cause that's where we headed.
A degree won't stop the need to hustle.
they said just learn to code breh

It’s more than just that.People need to be taught to examine the job market before selecting a degree/major.
You can't just go to college, do whatever you want and expect everything to work out.
I was planning on where i was going to go for an internship on my first day of college. Didn't wait until after i graduated to try and figure that out

When I see these articles I always wonder what kind of positions they are applying for and what their credentials are. Are they only shooting for the top of the top companies and positions and leaving it at that.Wait until CS majors realize there’s a lot of desk jobs and fields between FAANG and Chipotle.
A CS degree doesn’t mean you’re limited to software roles.
It’s still a STEM degree that displays a level of logical thinking above the average crowd.
That’s the big downside here: the more they can’t land a tech job, the more competition for other office jobs goes up because they’ll funnel.
When that mentality spreads on those subreddits rather than the doom and gloom over tech roles![]()
