Not yet. Looking to get on with flatbed company here in FL that has their own school
I heard it’s no bread in Florida in trucking, well at least grabbing a load leaving out of FL…

I try to tell every newbie who is getting into Trucking to get your Tanker, Hazmat, TWIC and run Hazardous Materials Tankers. That type of work is probably the least market dependent out of all of Trucking jobs. When the market is bad, it's the safest bet. They never listen lol

GREAT money. On top of most Tanker jobs are mostly Regional or Local because most of the fluids are necessity loads that can't sit for 4-5 days
Gasoline, Propane, Oxygen, Ethanol, Industrial Chemicals, Dry powder bulk loads, etc

Sure you can say that, but the dangers are overblown if you are a safe driver

It’s one of the reasons but not mainly the reason.. Brokers be on that bullshyt too.. if you a hotshot you shouldn’t take any loads for less than $1.50 a mile or if you have a semi $2.50 a mile.. these foreign drivers be taking hauls for literally .50 a mile, brokers see that and just blatantly try to lowball knowning they can get that shyt moved by those foreign drivers..
Hell naw that’s why they take any and every haul.. at least if you running locally you can bank depending on where you are and what your haulingThey even making money after gas and maintenance
