Schumer was always gonna be a terrible choice for leadership, bad enough that he gave Manchin a leadership role from jump to know he'd be a failure. Couple this with the article about the DCCC basically upholding the status quo for the neutered cowards and it's not hard to imagine them completely blowing the potential blue wave they could be sitting on if they just held strong.
