This is what I know for a fact in relation to Gully and Nas. Gully has been trying to get a Nas interview for years. It hasn't happened and it'll never happen. Dudes take what they perceive to be slights from Nas very personally for some reason lol because of that he'll take any chance he can to shyt on Nas and has so. These are all facts.

They are very similar.
Guru went mainstream without selling out.
Guru made better girl records without selling out.

Guru just failed in the sonic landscape change but never bought into that change. To be exposed like his contemporaries.
Both have issues with hiphop culture based mores and norms.
