He's not talking about friendship. He is talking about people who lie and pretend they want friendship in order to maybe one day get pity sex.

Some people are mature enough to have friends of the opposite sex and some are not. I wish men who only see women as sex objects would just claim it instead of trying to put their lack of maturity on the rest of the sex.

I see what you're saying. I have a circle of female friends. And I have been able to maintain a close friendship because we are getting our sexual needs met elsewhere.

But there is a flirtatious innuendo but with a couple of them but I'm glad it stayed platonic and/or I got friendzoned because I was able to see how I would've made a mistake trying to date them because i have seen certain characteristics I do not like in them as it relates to dating.

The guys who stay around hoping for pity sex, usually it never happens. And if it does, it wont be good and more than likely you probably wont end up friends. Women know within 15 seconds if they will ever give a man sexual access to them. So many guys waste their time and don't even realize it..

ehh I remember you saying you had or have a guy friend but he's really a friend of your husband/bf whatever and you said you don't chill with him outside of the group. People have different definitions of what a friend is.

I was going to write this long ass post refuting the OP but I think his message is meant for only certain group of ppl. Theres a noticeable section of society that cannot see the opposite sex as anything more than a sexual conquest. What else is a man and a woman supposed to do together?

It is possible to be friends with people of opposite sex lol. I can't believe we have to say this.

And this flip side doesn't get talked about enough. What such women in these "friendships" get is male attention which is like food to them all, and turns toxic if your giving it to someone else you'd want to take it further with.
