HER’s sound got boring...add to the fact she has that played “mysterious” persona to death. That said, she’s extremely talented, I think if she linked up with some vets - like a Raphael Saddiq, hell, even babyface lol - along with some new school producers who deliver on the r&b front, and maybe even branch out to some of them euro soul cacs like little dragon, she could put out another classic. She’s at the point j cole has been at, its time to search beyond your own talents to find a new/fresh sound and/or elevate your sound
If yall want her to sell records and have people actually give a fukk about her, that's what shes gonna have to do
What is her team doing is what I want to know. They keep dropping this piece meal EP then come back around a couple months later combining shyt for an album. Where is the fukking full length debut LP? She has been around since 2016

Summer has the same team as 6lack, and she's consistent with her sound, knows her audience and even before this album, she was putting out dope records... SZA appears to have work ethic issues, which will derail anyone. You add that with the fact that she got exposed after touring last time around, where she was PUT on major stages, like Coachella, the amount of pressure she's putting on herself with this long ass hiatus could get ugly if she puts out some bullshyt. I remember her saying that Punch and Top had to basically put CTRL together because SZA was taking too long with curating the album.

No she’s ok. She will be around for a while. Her music is t for the trap fans and people into fad music. She’s not going to have millions of fans from what she’s doing. The fact that a thread is made on her not appealing to the current crop of fickle fans is an example of the direction she wants to take. The same for Nao. She stays in her lane and will not be a flash in the pan artist. The game is about longevity, not who can get the most fans for 2 years and fade away. I’d personally rather have 150-200k fans consistently for 10 years than a million fans for 2 years.
