This is the kind of bullshyt climate deniers do to try and debunk global warming.

"But it was 10 degrees all week!!!"

:beli:
Global Warming as a human cause is nonsense.
Science and this planet's vast history before we became industrialized(you know, some 4 plus billion years or so) tells us that the planet goes through climate cycles. Looking into Global Warming fanatics shows us that in the 70s these same clowns tried to sell us on a Global Cooling craze. Oddly they never bring it up or even admit they were wrong. I think it's safe to say they have never been right, even now. The increased heating of this planet should come as no surprise as the sun itself, having passed it's middle age mark, is slowing putting out more heat. If no human ever existed on this planet this would still be the case. I would take those pitching global warming as a man made phenomenon a lot more seriously if they took the time to bring up these details. But it might make them look foolish so I understand.

I really can't see how someone can accept that this planet goes through Ice Ages that come and go but somehow think an increase in temperature is some grand rare phenomenon! Humans must be causing it! What do you think an end of an Ice Age is? An increase in temperatures obviously. The last Ice Age was ending before we were driving around on the Interstates. In fact, we are still at this very instant within the end of the last Ice Age. And guess what? Temperatures are increasing! Big shocker there! Humans must be causing it! 4 billion years before we came on the scene mean nothing! We're here now so we must accept the blame due to our intelligence and bipedalism!

They keep us distracted with race baiting, the kardashians, self loathing memes, meritocracy memes (you can make it if you just work hard enough!) social media, no credit check rent a centers, shytty cheap fast food, etc --- all to keep us from acknowledging that our collective wealth has been extracted by oligarchs, which thus prevents a violent revolution to take back whats ours. This economy of ours is the stuff of insanity.
Why did this post remind me of Lupe's last verse on Hurt Me Soul?
That song..:blessed:

So Cacs for the most part really aint shif after all..

I knew a white girl that used to work with that is worth millions because of mineral rights inheritance on BOTH sides of the family. Here people owned land in Texas since the slavery days. She never stresses for money and lives a hipster lifestyle. A lot of white white people do not need to earn a lof of money because they have an inheritance. Go to LA and some of the talent agencies like CAA. There are white kids that work in the mail room making 27k that are worth millions.

It's only a matter of time. Poor white folks serve as a buffer to the oligarchs, unfortunately. When the demographics shift enough, there will be change, though I'm not sure if it'll be positive. I think the racial dynamics in this country will preclude any sensible re-structuring. I work at a large multinational and have been privy to VP and C-level conversations for the better part of 2 years now. The shyt I've heard makes it obvious to me that, if all you have to offer is your labor in the next 10-15 years, you're going to take some massive Ls. The US is not as attractive of an investment for these corporations anymore. Get your money up and OWN brehs. I can't stress this enough. The thought of being 68 and working at Wal-Mart...:wow:

I did my research on this and I'm going to have to call ducktales on this $27,000 a year figure. If half of all workers earn less than $27,000 a year, then how do so many people manage to afford all of these nice homes and apartments in non-hood areas while most restaurants and shopping centers where I live are packed even though new ones are sprouting up like weeds.

According to the bureau of labor statistics, the median annual wage in the US is $35,090 and the mean is $46,440. For my home metro area, Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Marietta, the median annual wage is $35,690 while the mean is $48,270.

Most american's don't actually own these assets you speak of. Compared to other countries, credit is easily available especially to those that can't make the monthly payments in the USA. The nice homes and cars you see aren't owned by the people stunting in em. They are actually owned by the bank or a financial institution.

How can anyone bring up California incomes when they on average pay more than 1.50 per gallon than everywhere else in the country at any given time? 51k in Cali is akin to 27k elsewhere when you factor it all in. I can only imagine the state taxes. If you have zero debt and you're childless 27k, while isn't a huge amount of money, is hardly the end of the world. Now if you're the only person working to support 3 kids you got a problem on your hands. :wow:

if you work sales in California you are legally getting raped every commission check

36% (minimum you can be taxed) up to 44% taxed on your commission check :sadcam:

thats right coli bruhs

if you have a crazy ass month in sales and you get a $5000 commission check (which is rare already regardless of what sales you do unless you work for some company like Oracle and sell business contracts or something)

now yall here looking at that $5000 like :gladbron: but that comes out to $2200 after taxes, then you gotta add in 401k, etc etc and you might see like $1800 of a $5000 check :sadcam: what kinda fukk shyt is that :sadcam:

and keep in mind most retail jobs you only get 1 commission check a month. $1800 seems like a lot in some place like Alabama, but here in california where rent is $1000+ a month for any where you wont get robbed trying to walk into your door, cable/tv is $100-200 a month, PG&E is $100+ a month, cell phone $100 a month, you easily looking at $1500+ a month (generous low number right there) for BILLS, not even counting FOOD, CLOTHES or occasionally going out :sadcam: Leaving you with $300 :sadcam:

I love california but we be on some bull shyt here not gonna lie :to:

to put things in perspective, if a dentist or doctor makes $100,000 a year he will see roughly $75,000 of that cash (of course less if hes putting money in they 401k)

if you are a sales person making $100,000 a year you only gonna see around $55-65k of that money at most :sadcam:

dont see how its legal that 1 profession gets taxed more than others :camby:

Of course there is a lot of old money Cacs are sitting on. But you had to be somebody to begin with to leave a sizeable inheritance, and that wasnt most Cacs. Most of what most cacs have inherited is old homes in states no one wants to buy a property in anyway. The vast majority have to work to eat.
